Philosophers say that life is a journey in itself. On the way there are countless sights, sounds, tastes and smells. But a tireless traveller’s expedition isn’t confined within limited places. Change is the only constant for a traveller who is on a constantly seeking adventure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
From the snow-capped peaks of the Alps in romantic Switzerland, to the art galleries and bohemian bars of Berlin, every destination is a different world in itself.
Flipping through the pages would be a journey to the mysterious corridors of the thousand year old Edinburgh Castle, to the miraculous Stone Forest of Kunming in China, to the heart-rending concentration camp of Adolf Hitler, and many more places.
The reason that has whet my desire and interest to write this book - Travelling leaves you speechless, and then turns you into a storyteller. I have always believed it is better to see something atleast once than to hear about it a thousand times. And as the eminent Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu has said - “A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step,” I have always taken out time to travel to various places.
Reading travel stories transports a person to faraway places in no time; it’s magical. I had the desire to pen down the experiences and memories I have had and made in different nooks and corners of the world, and finally it shaped up as Duniyadari.
