My innate literary urge has taken me round the world in quest of new experiences and unexplored frontiers. After visiting England that is indeed a Poetic Pilgrimage, I thought to write a book containing the biography of four famous poets , who lived in England and spent the trial and tribulations of their creative journey in England, they are Shakespeare, Keats, Wordsworth and Tagore.
The reason that has whet my desire and interest to write this book - The moment you hear the name England, vignettes of Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, the Thames, and the Tower of London flash through your mind. We tend to forget that England was home to some of the greatest poets the world ever produced- Shakespeare, Keats, Wordsworth and Tagore. It is a poetic pilgrimage, oblivious of all else that the country has to offer. I was soon transported back in time and found myself part of the scenes that made up the everyday lives of my favorite poets. Naturally it left me wallowing in a surge of emotions. I was mystified. Finally I started to write to share my experience. I believe the readers enjoy this awakening in every line of Poetic Pilgrimage.
This book also has attractive colorful photographs of my visit to Shakespeare's house , at Tagore's Hampstead home, Anne Hathaway's cottage , Nash House and various places of England , and much more.
