Step by step to quantum leaps – Sister Nivedita University Press has been launched at the university auditorium today by Vice Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University Prof. Ashoke Ranjan Thakur, through the official launch of SNUP logo and webpage, in the august presence of Registrar of SNU Prof. Suman Chatterjee, OSD to the Chancellor and Publisher of SNUP Prodyut Kumar Biswas, Director of Techno International New Town Dr. R T Goswami, Registrar of Techno International New Town Dr. S.P. Ghosh, and officials and students of the university.

Sister Nivedita University Press is the publishing department of Sister Nivedita University, specializing in books of all genres, academic monographs, reference materials and scholarly journals. Sister Nivedita University Press is the idea and initiative of Satyam Roychowdhury, Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University as he believes, “Every good writing should be made available to the world, because the world needs to read more to heal.”

The first two books published by SNU Press – ‘Calcuttadotes’, an anthology of twenty short stories edited by Joie Bose, and ‘From Nowhere’, a collection of poems by Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi are scheduled to be launched at the Raj Bhavan on July 2.
