It was in the year 2010, when the United Nations decided to honour India's former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, on his 79th birth anniversary and declared his birthday, October 15 as the ‘World Students' Day’. This year on this auspicious day I have paid my homage to the father of India's military missile programme , Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam by launching my book "Kalam Katha" at Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).The book was launched by Sri Bratya Basu , Hon'ble Minister -in-Charge ,Tourism Department, Govt. of West Bengal. Quite a number of eminent personalities and dignitaries were present there.

This book can be a priced possession for all , as it has edited compilation of articles, speeches, media reports and other sources from print, web, tributes from scientists and academicians across the globe in Bengali version . I believe this book will make a mark in student's mind.
Actually just one month ago, 5th September I have launched a book name "Pupils' President - APJ Abdul KALAM", this is also a complete compilation on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam but in English.
As India is a developing country, all children in India hardly get the chance to continue their study from English medium school, rather they neither even get the chance to get proper education. Being an educationist I feel for these destitute students. That's why I thought after launching "Pupils' President - APJ Abdul KALAM" , if I edit a new book on the Teacher of Teachers Dr. Kalam in Bengali for the impoverished Bengali students then this book could be a great brainwave that helps them to march forward and also helps get ignited their minds.
On that occasion I have presented my latest Book "Kalam Katha" to 50 students as a token of adoration from myself ,so that the students can elevate the society by getting inspired and motivated after reading the biography, thoughts, speeches, quotes of the great soul of Kalam sir.
