As Sister Nivedita University celebrated its First Convocation, it was a momentous occasion for us to honor some of the most distinguished personalities from various fields with honorary D.Litt. It was an absolute privilege to recognize the remarkable contributions of Padma Vibhushan Shri Ratan Naval Tata, Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Shri Chandra Sekhar Ghosh, Padmashri Smt. Sanghamitra Bandopadhyay, Director of Indian Statistical Institute, and Shri. Martin Kämpchen, eminent author, translator, journalist, and social worker. This marks a significant milestone for our University, and we could not have asked for a better way to kick-start our convocation ceremonies.
